Currently, I am an information designer at CESM, but I have also created data stories as part of the team at NPR Digital Services and BEAM Interactive. I create the majority of my data visualizations using a mixture of R, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3DV (a proprietary relational database management system I designed and run at CESM).  I am happiest when I am turning data sets into narratives, or eating maple walnut ice cream (and maybe both things simultaneously).
